NEWS IN PATTAYA: British nationals arrested over major heist! Three British citizens appeared in court on suspicion of a brazen safe heist with a large sum of cash in Pattaya. The accused insist on their innocence in the incident that occurred on the night of February 26, 2026. According to the investigation, the suspects, armed with knives, broke into the home of British head chef Wesley Cyril Russell and his Thai partner. They threatened them and stole a safe containing over 2 million baht, as well as mobile phones. The perpetrators escaped in a car, breaking through the estate gates. Police arrested the three main suspects: 20-year-old Palmer Jermaine, 38-year-old Christopher Erans, and 32-year-old Taihul Junior Michael Campbell. Two of them attempted to leave the country, which is considered an attempt to evade justice. All have been charged with group robbery. The fourth suspect has not been identified and is still under questioning. The fifth detainee was previously released. Among the collected evidence are items found in the apartment where, allegedly, the suspects shared the stolen goods. The police also have video recordings, allegedly capturing the suspects' car and clothing changes on the day of the crime. During the initial interrogations, the suspects refused to give statements, with one citing mental health issues. In court, they behaved calmly and showed complete composure.
